2014 begins...

With most of our staff home for the holidays, it has been a bit of a ghost town around here. However, we've still had the regulars who enjoy using our basketball court and playing soccer in our yard. Fortunately, most of them are respectful of our property; in fact, a few young guys turned in a cell phone they found nearby, and we were able to return it to its rightful owner.

Now that staff have returned, the first program of 2014 was....

Tutoring!

You'll notice some coats and jackets. Here, we brave the inside cold. A good portion of our building isn't heated and seems to stay rather chilly during winter months. It's often much cooler inside the building than it is outside the building. Of course, we have much to be thankful for when it comes to our current weather situation. It's the perfect time for hiking or planting a few green things, while most of the States are covered in snow and ice.
